Cattlemen's has weekday lunch specials, today I went totally out of comfort zone and ordered the chicken fried chicken lunch special - house salad with their delicious house dressing, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, fried chicken breast with white gravy on the side. The chicken breast was fried a light golden brown, juicy, tender and delicious. Cattlemen's is more than a delicious steak house!! Excellent customer serve.

Our Son and Daughter-in-law took us to Cattleman's this morning for their breakfast buffet. We had a great time. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet. It's basic: biscuits, gravey, hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, patty sausage cinnamon rolls and fruit. The overall quality is good. I wasn't able to take photos as my battery died. I will rate each item on the buffet that we ate. Biscuits: 5/5 Cream gravey 5/5 Hash brows 3/5 Bacon 5/5 Sausage patty 3.5/5 Cinnamon roll 5/5 Bloody Mary's: 3/5 Not part of the buffet. If you're not buffet adverse, Cattleman's buffet is a good value. Good food, good service. I

I returned to Cattlemen's with some friends for breakfast. This time I tried the French toast. While I still think Cattlemen's is great, their French toast was only so-so. The order I received showed lack of attention to the details that make French toast delicious. One thing I noticed is that the French toast was noticeably yellow in places. This comes from either not mixing the batter well enough or from using too much egg in the batter. Another thing I noticed was that I could taste the Texas toast that they used. This shows that either the bread was lightly dipped in the batter or that it was not dried out enough ahead of time. Ideally, you start with dried out bread that absorbs the batter enough to moisten it all the way through. Nevertheless, after I added some syrup and butter, this French toast tasted fine. I ordered some link sausage to go with it. That ended up as the star of my meal. Similar to the link sausage at the (now closed) Grill on the Hill, these are about double the diameter of what you might find at a community pancake breakfast. The thickness made for some meaty bites. On top of that, the sausage was seasoned well. Nothing better than salty and slightly peppery sausage dunked in syrup!

I had breakfast, not their famous cuts of steak. It was a good breakfast. Nothing over the top. It's the fact that you're eating at a restaurant that's over 100 years old, that's the cool factor and the decor is great vintage.

This was my first time here. This place is indeed a time warp, it's over a century old. It is the kind of joint my family would go to on a Friday night when I was a kid. It probably looks the same too lol But you don't come for the no frills ambiance, you come to eat the most tender steak, the house salad and a no nonsense baked potato! I understand this is not for everyone, but I was raised as a meat and potatoes girl so this brought me back big time. If the meat is good, you don't need all the embellishments you'll find elsewhere. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked medium rare wrapped in bacon with au jus on the plate. Hubs got the ribeye steak and is ready to go back already!! The rolls were super soft and fluffy. Since it was my birthday, I took a coconut cream pie home too which was delicious. I think our waitress was Myra? She was a sweetheart and very attentive despite it being a full house. Expect a wait, so come early and come hungry.

There is a reason this steakhouse is always on lists of best steakhouses in the USA, it is incredible. We stopped by here on a Friday night at 4:45 and there was no wait, but by the time we left people were waiting outside. They have a simple menu with different cuts of steak and a few other entree options, like shrimp or chicken. I got the roast prime beef rare and it was cooked perfectly. The steak also came with a side salad, and I got the house dressing (definitely get if you like a cheesy dressing. You'll also get rolls, croutons, and another side, I got the baked potato which was okay. The location is smaller and looks exactly like how I imagine it looked in the 50s. The service was really fast, we didn't wait long for food. There wasn't much else around it, but Bricktown is just a few minutes away.

Very old restaurant with a simple menu. Wait time was about 20 minutes which wasn't too bad on a weekday night. Ordered the T-bone steak which was very light and juicy. Could've used a bit more salt but some people prefer to have control over that so I wasn't upset. The salad was delicious with a mayo texture house dressing. The baked potato side was also very great and had all the toppings you needed. Prices were very reasonable. Overall, a simple experience for good quality steak. I'm sure there's other popular places in this city that people would prefer but this restaurant is a great one to try.
